Browser-only invoice generation
Billume creates the invoice preview and PDF in your browser. The business details, client details, line items, notes, and logo you enter stay on your device and are used there to render and download the document. Billume does not provide accounts or invoice storage.
Downloads
When you choose Download PDF, the PDF is created in your browser and saved through your browser’s normal download controls. Your invoice contents are not sent to Billume as part of that download.
Emailing an invoice and feedback
When you choose Share & download, Billume sends the generated PDF, the sender email address, and the receiver email address to our email delivery provider, MailerSend, solely to deliver that email. The sender address is used as the reply address. When you submit feedback, the message and any optional email address are sent to MailerSend so Billume can receive and reply to your feedback. Billume does not create an account or store the invoice after delivery.
Anonymous analytics events
Billume records anonymous aggregate product events to understand whether invoice creation, PDF downloading, and the optional feedback prompt are useful. The events are invoice started, template selected, PDF downloaded, email invoice clicked, feedback prompt shown, and feedback link clicked. A PDF download or feedback event may include the selected template and currency, plus a broad time-to-download bucket and broad source category for downloads. Feedback message contents and email addresses are never included in analytics events. We do not collect invoice or client details, names, addresses, line items, amounts, tax rates, notes, logos, raw errors, IP addresses, device identifiers, or persistent user or session IDs.
Google Ads measurement
If you choose Allow on our measurement notice, Billume loads the Google Ads tag to measure visits from our ads and improve advertising. The tag is configured with Google Consent Mode and remains denied until you make that choice. Billume does not send invoice or client details to Google Ads. You can decline measurement without affecting invoice creation or PDF downloads.
