Why it exists
Billume began with a familiar end-of-day job: turning completed work into an invoice without wrestling a spreadsheet, signing up for another service, or handing over client details. It is a small independent project made for people who want to send a clear invoice and get back to their work.
Why it is free
The useful part should be easy to reach. Billume keeps the core invoice generator free, with no account, no watermark, and no advertising tracker. Keeping invoice creation in the browser also means there is no invoice-storage product to operate or sell access to.
A practical note
Billume is a document-making tool, not accounting or tax advice. You are responsible for checking that your invoice meets the tax, business, and record-keeping requirements that apply to you.
